**All 2010/2011 Fremont County Tax Statements have been mailed.**
First half taxes due September 1, 2010 and will become delinquent October 1,
2010
Second half taxes due March 1, 2011 and will become delinquent April 1, 2011.
The 2010/2011 Tax Statements are now available on line at the link below:
On Line Property Tax Payment *
* eCheck (electronic funds transfer), Discover Card, Master Card, and Visa are accepted for Internet transactions. If using echeck, the tax receipt number shown on your property tax statement will be required to complete your transaction. Do not use the decimal or numeral after the decimal when making your payment. Please be advised a surcharge of $20 will be assessed for a dishonored check, draft or order as prescribed in Iowa Code 554.3512

Vehicle registration renewals
can be processed the month before, the month of, and the month after the
expiration month. You are eligible to renew online if you received a renewal
notice through the US Postal Service that contains a PIN number for online
renewals.
Starting February 2010 vehicle registrations that are delinquent will be
eligible for renewal on line.
(This will be for vehicles registrations due in December 2009 and after).
Half year license and apportioned vehicles are not eligible for online renewal.
